Bonus literacy?

Hello, I was wondering how the "bonus literacy" ability works toward learning new languages in the context of the new rules revision. I am level 4 scholarship and I've received 2 "bonus literacies". I declared one a while back as Ounish, I don't know if that was right back then or not. Now, do we devote a downtime to learning a language? Or is that what people who don't have scholarship have to do? A general clarification of this rule would be helpful.

If you have scholarship, you have to spend a downtime to learn a language. I think that's how it's been done the whole time.

Alright, does someone have to teach you? And what if you don't have scholarship? You just can't learn a language at all?

Yeah, someone has to spend a DT teaching you. If you don't have scholarship, I don't think there's a way to learn another language.

Yup on all counts. Also, written Ounish language is a very special case and takes a good deal of time to learn.
